As of April 1st, 2023, according to Textile Exchange Content Claim Standard (CCS) 3.1, all brands are required to be certified to apply for product-specific claims approvals.

In the first half of this session, we will cover an introduction to Textile Exchange and GOTS, what certification is and what chain of custody is.

The second half of the session will go through the certification process, covering submitting an application, signing the service proposal, conducting the onsite audit, making the certification decision, receiving the Scope Certificate and requesting Transaction Certificates, and annual surveillance.

This update will leave you with knowledge of the standards and the steps to complete the certification process.
