The course covers a detailed breakdown of Scope 3 emissions, providing step-by-step guidance on establishing a comprehensive Scope 3 emissions inventory. You'll learn proven data collection techniques and emission calculation approaches for 13 categories under Scope 3 emissions, excluding emissions from franchises and investments which require further consultation from professionals. Upon completion, you will be able to: - Explain the critical importance of Scope 3 emissions in overall GHG reduction efforts - Identify and understand the 15 categories that make up Scope 3 emissions - Evaluate the application of each calculation method against your company's situation - Learn robust data collection methods for Scope 3 emissions - Discover the resources available to support Scope 3 data and calculations - Develop strategies to improve Scope 3 data quality continuously This course is designed for personnel working in social compliance or sustainability roles, who aim to effectively manage and reduce their organization's Scope 3 emissions. Participants should have prior experience in quantifying Scope 1 and 2 emissions and managing a GHG inventory.
