This advanced course will equip you with the knowledge to evaluate and select the most suitable and applicable methods for quantifying your organization's Scope 3 GHG emissions.
You'll explore the various options available for each emissions activity, as well as the resources needed to calculate your Scope 3 footprint. This will enable you to drive meaningful reductions in your organization's carbon footprint.

The course covers a detailed breakdown of Scope 3 emissions, providing step-by-step guidance on establishing a comprehensive Scope 3 emissions inventory. You'll learn proven data collection techniques and emission calculation approaches for 13 categories under Scope 3 emissions, excluding emissions from franchises and investments which require further consultation from professionals.

Participants should have prior experience in quantifying Scope 1 and 2 emissions and managing a GHG inventory. If you don't have this foundational knowledge, we recommend taking our "Essential Steps to Developing your GHG Inventory" course in the Decarbonization series first.

- Pass the Final Assessment with a passing score of 70% or above
- Attempts: 3 times. If learners fail the test, they have to retake the training and the test.
